Podcast SummaryTrue Knowledge Radio stems from the underrepresentation of Pilipino-Americans in today's mainstream media. The show is a dynamic mix of good music, social commentary, and powerful interviews which look to bring about awareness of issues affecting our community, especially the youth, and to celebrate the many accomplishments of Pilipino artists. True Knowledge Radio airs every Wednesdays from 12-1:30pm on Youth Radio's All Day Play and is hosted by iLaw! Make sure to tune in!
About iLawiLaw is a Tagalog word meaning "Light". The name is a reflection of the music and lyrics portrayed in The Committee's music. Aimed to shed "light" on Pilipino community issues, music as a means of educating and organizing is just one avenue to reach the masses both here in the States and back home in the Philippines. I'm a Bay Area native but schooled in Los Angeles. My home is where the fog is! I represent the BAY! Check out The Committee at: myspace.com/thecommitteemusic Fans of this Show
